Teen Preachers
Catch St. Dominic’s Spirit

These students from Marian Catholic and Sacred Heart-Griffin High Schools so enjoyed their experience at the 2019 Dominican High School Preaching Conference they resolved to meet up one month later in Springfield to continue their immersion in Dominican preaching life! The schools' campus ministers made it possible. Had they been able, the students from our third sponsored school, Rosary High School would have joined them.

Hear what preachers Payton Ramsey and Addy Frey say about the preaching life, then join them in responding nonstop to the nonstop needs of the world with a gift to the St. Dominic's Day appealThank you!

About the High School Preachers

Every year for the past twenty years, at least one or two Springfield Dominican Sisters have participated in the Dominican High School Preaching Conference. This year it was Sister Marcelline Koch and Sister Jean Patrick Ehrhardt. The two are preaching conference rock stars!

Sister Marcelline, who is our justice promoter and the co-promoter of justice for North America, provided the students  with the basics needed to understand and to begin to dismantle systemic racism.

And as she does every year, Sister Jean Patrick shared her rosary-making skill with the preachers.

You can take the teacher out of the classroom...
