Dominican Life

St. Dominic de Guzman founded the Order of Preachers, the Dominicans, in the 13th Century as an innovative response to the needs of the world.

Our charism (the character or spirit of our religious order) stands on four pillars of Dominican life: prayer, study, community (or common life) and preaching (or ministry). Explore to learn more!
