Dominican Sisters of Springfield Join Catholic Sisters Nationwide to Call for Action on Gun Safety

“Organizations representing tens of thousands of Catholic sisters and associates across the United States are calling for an end to gun violence and immediate Congressional action to stop the bleeding and dying in our schools and cities,” said Sister Marcelline Koch, the justice promoter for the Springfield Dominicans. “We stand with them.”

The leadership of the Dominican Sisters of Springfield endorse the statements of the Leadership Conference of Women Religious, to which they belong, and the Justice Conference of Women Religious, an affiliate organization.

Here’s what you can do to join the call for action:

Donate to the Uvalde Victims First Fund, the Buffalo 5-14 Survivors Fund,
or Catholic Charities of San Antonio's Uvalde Relief Fund

Advocate with your elected officials for gun reform using the websites
of Moms Demand Action, Sandy Hook Promise, or March for Our Lives.

Pray in solidarity with those working for gun safety.

Join a June 11 March for Our Lives protest near you.
