December 8, 2021

It’s been a while since we’ve provided an update on the remodeling at Regina Coeli, but the news is good.

The past week has been transformative. If this remodel were a Home and Garden Television episode, the second floor living room, activity room, and nurses’ stations would be just about ready for their big reveal.

Flooring is going down quickly on the massive project, bedrooms are being painted, almost all the bedroom doors have been beautifully refinished and stained.

The new furniture and fixtures made possible by your donations should arrive at the motherhouse by mid-January, ready to be assembled and installed.

We can’t thank you enough for your generosity, prayers, and encouragement through this whole process. One donor recently wrote to say she is sure the sisters will be happy to move back into their rooms once the transformation is complete. How right she is!

Our sisters will be pleased. So will our committed nurses and nursing assistants, who will value this newly refurbished space and the contributions its beauty and efficiency will make to their care of our sisters.

We are all joyful with anticipation and grateful for the sacrifices you’ve made to make their new living space comfortable and serviceable for our common life of prayer, study, and proclamation of the Good News of the Gospel. Thank you so much.
