“Come, and you will see.” ~ John 1:39

Sisters Denise Glazik and Mary Jo Sobieck, Ministers of Vocation Accompaniment and Animation for the Dominican Sisters of Springfield, were on the road again, this time participating in av ocation fair hosted by Marian Catholic High School in Chicago Heights, IL on Friday, Apr. 17.

Two Viatorian priests, an associate representative for the Claretian Missionaries, and a priest from the Archdiocese of Chicago joined them to offer a day of encounter for grades 11-12. During each theology class period, students visited exhibits and had time to ask questions and peruse materials on display at each congregation’s table. Stickers, buttons, pens, and gift cards were given and received with much enthusiasm. In all, the day provided students with a unique opportunity to meet and talk with religious men and women who have responded joyfully to the call of God on their heart to give themselves generously for the life of the world.

Thank you for your continued prayerful support and enthusiasm for this work of the Holy Spirit given to us by God for his glory. Believe! Believe! Believe! The time is ripe for God’s Vineyard to bear fruit and produce a bountiful harvest of new generation sisters and priests for today’s Church and world.

“Come, and you will see.”
