What a wonderful Dominican Jesus would have made!”

Yes, our Dominican brother Father Don Goergen actually said that: “What a wonderful Dominican Jesus would have made!”

Why?

Because Dominic allowed Jesus, Word of God, to become his home. He lived deeply in relationship with the Jesus he knew from the gospels. He shared the joy of that relationship as it overflowed into to his friendships and among the people with whom and to whom he carried God’s Word.

As we celebrate St. Dominic today, our prayer is that you, too, find a home in the gospel of Jesus, doing what Dominic did: seeking the presence of Jesus in all things and allowing the prompting of the Spirit to align your life closely with the life of Christ-in-you.

Thank you for your ongoing prayerful support!

Have a blessed and peaceful day!
