Alyssa Regan, switchboard supervisor at Sacred Heart Convent, has two little boys at home she knew would be excited about getting out in the mammoth snowstorm that was scheduled for the weekend.
Could that explain her brainstorm? Why not have a snow-person making contest for the sisters and their coworkers? What a brilliant idea! The sisters and coworkers have begun!
The challenge took off! By popular demand, here are photos of the four snow-creatures created as of Monday morning, January 14. Keep posted for more as they are built and photographed throughout the day today!
"This is not just for fun,"Alyssa said, though it is that. The winning sister-coworker team gets a prize. "The sister wins a basket-full of chocolate goodies and the coworker will receive an overnight stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel," she said. When one of the sisters pointed out the inequity of the prizes, Alyssa suggested that the sister-winner might enjoy a night in Siena Hall, the old SHA-boarder-dorm-turned-guest-house attached to the motherhouse complex. Huh? Not fair, the sisters claim. But that basket of chocolate does look pretty good.....

You all are too much fun! Tried to post my snow beach bum but couldn’t figure out how to attach the photo.
Blessings to all. Stay safe and warm.
