MV-1 Van Arrives!
Thanks to all who donated to our fall appeal and made the purchase of a new van for our wheel bound sisters possible!
The new MV-1 Van arrived on Thursday, February 18, 2016 and Sisters began practicing how to secure the wheelchairs in the vehicle. The van can take two wheelchairs and three other passengers. The automatic ramp facilitates ease of getting in and out of the van! After a few mock-runs of securing the wheelchair, the Sisters buckled their seat-belts and went on their first test drive. God Bless you for making this possible!
Sisters that are drivers and companions are in the final frame of the video. Left to right: Sister M. Josetta Brown, OP; Sister Jean Patrick Ehrhardt, OP; Sister M. Zachary Sergeena, OP; Sister M. Corde Lenn, OP and Sister Rose Marie Riley, OP. Sister Kathleen Anne Tait, OP (in the red shirt) from the Mission Advancement office is in the video along with Lucas Propstmilik (black and white striped shirt) and Rick Bohm (black shirt) from the Maintenance Department.
