Martin Luther King Jr. 1963 “Letter from a Birmingham Jail”) As a Baptist Christian, he followed Jesus’ Way of life and teachings as found in the Bible He prayed and remained faithful to His Way. He remembered the Old Testament Psalm “The Lord loves the just and will not forsake his faithful ones!” -Psalm 37;38
