We are excited to donate for bench in the butterfly garden in memory of my aunt Sr Gabriella. What a wonderful tribute it will be. I hope to visit it one day.
Hi Marcia,
Sr. Gabriella was my French teacher for four years. It was my favorite class for sure, albeit Sr. Gabriella was unquestionably my toughest teacher:). Because of her “toughness” my French Conversation instructor in college told me that I had a perfect Parisian accent! What a compliment to Sr. Gabriella.
Thankfully we kept in touch after I graduated Marian in 1970. She was an outstanding teacher and wonderful friend over the years exchanging Christmas greetings. These past 2 years I would write and tell her not to reply, that I wanted her to hear from me and save her energy.
I had donated to the garden in her beloved memory a few months ago and actually got online today to check the cost of a bench because I wanted something more as a memorial in her honor. I am SO grateful to see that you’ve ensured her memory with a bench for others to sit and enjoy the garden. Thank you for that.
I hope knowing that your aunt was loved by so many others brings you some comfort in your loss.
I’m sorry you had trouble Marg. I think you are correct. I don’t see your entry. Please feel free to call 217-787-0481 and ask for me. I’ll be happy to help you. I’ll send you an email message too.

Thanks Marcia! We hope you can come, too.
