St. Pope John Paul II is known to have said, "Faith is strengthened when it is given to others.”
Three cheers for how the Rosary College Prep Dominican Preachers did just that on Weds, Sept. 8th.
The girls, led by Rosary's Campus Minister, Mary Sutarik, were invited to facilitate a Confirmation retreat for the eighth-grade students at St. Mary School in Plano, where Sr. Ann Brummel serves as principal.
With a 'Happy Birthday' theme (to Mary and the Church),
the students 'unwrapped' and celebrated the gifts of Holy Spirit given to each individual for the common good.
Students listened to talks, participated in small group sharing, played games and performed skits to make real what yet remains a mystery in their development as disciples of Jesus Christ.
Sr. Geraldine and Sr. Mary Jo could not say enough about the students and their formators/teachers. We were 
encouraged to see such a faith filled group of young people with attitudes, behaviors and shared friendships giving witness to God’s unconditional love, acceptance and mercy. Twas a joy to accompany their precious souls already on fire with the Holy Spirit. Pray with us for their continued growth and openness to God's grace inviting them to respond to the inspiration of the Spirit leading them to holiness.
