Poet Tree event at SHC photos

Sisters were recently busy creating a Poet Tree in the Sacred Heart Convent library. Formed in a semi-circle the Sisters were invited to share their own poems they had written or share one by their favorite authors.

Sister Judith Curran shared with the others a poem by Robert Frost, the final three lines of the poem "Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening" and read, "The woods are lovely, dark and deep, but I have promises to keep and miles to go before I sleep."

The names of the poems will be written on leaves and placed on an artificial tree in the library.
